The solution suits, among others, municipalities, city districts, housing companies, property owners and other actors that need to collect and use place-based information about safety. It can also be used in collaboration between municipality, police, civil society and business.

It depends on the setup. You can work with designated reporters from your own organisation and collaboration partners, or open the mapping to residents, tenants and other target groups through web links and QR codes.

A mapping can be designed without questions about identity when the purpose allows it. The exact setup, information to the participant and any processing of technical data need to be assessed by the organisation that is the data controller.

The participant opens a link, marks a place on the map and answers the questions the organisation has chosen. That can for example be category, time, description and image. The flow is adapted to target group and purpose.

Yes, when image upload is included in the configured form. The organisation should at the same time give clear instructions about what may be photographed and reported, and avoid unnecessary collection of personal data.

You can use defined categories, mandatory questions, follow-up questions and statuses to make the information more consistent. Authorised administrators can review the material. The final quality also depends on clear instructions, relevant data sources and the organisation's analysis process.

The results can be configured for filtering based on, for example, area, category, reporter, time and status. Exactly which filters are available depends on how the mapping and the results view are set up.

Yes. Structured collection and filters can make it possible to compare areas, categories and periods. The comparison needs to be interpreted with regard to, for example, how many people have reported and whether the collection method has changed.

Yes. Current results can be shared through adapted views and links based on the permissions and information classification the organisation has decided on.

No. The channel should not be used for emergencies, ongoing crime or as a substitute for a police report. It should also not replace the municipality's or property owner's ordinary fault reporting unless this is expressly included in the setup. In case of acute danger the participant should call 112.
