Everyone should be able to use our digital tools, regardless of functional ability or assistive technology. Entergate follows WCAG 2.1 level AA and works continuously to improve accessibility across our product range — from survey platform to e-learning.

Entergate works so that everyone can use our tools, regardless of functional ability. We follow WCAG 2.1 level AA and continuously improve our accessibility.
Entergate follows WCAG 2.1 AA
WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is the international standard for digital accessibility. Level AA means, among other things, that:
- text can be enlarged without content disappearing
- the contrast between text and background is sufficient
- all functions can be used with keyboard only
- screen readers can interpret and read the content aloud
- forms have clear labels and understandable error messages
- images have alternative texts
Inclusive design from the start
We take different functional abilities into account throughout the design process, not afterwards. In that way accessibility becomes part of the product from the start.
Entergate collaborates with Funka
Funka is an independent specialist in digital accessibility. They review our tools and help us find and fix shortcomings.
Servers in Sweden and GDPR
Our data is stored on servers in Sweden and handled according to GDPR. That also applies to all information relating to accessibility adaptations.

Entergate is awarded the Accessibility and Reception Prize
Entergate has been awarded Halmstad Municipality's Accessibility and Reception Prize.
We are proud to be recognised for our commitment and our ability to offer an accessible and inclusive experience for all our customers.
Halmstad Municipality citation for the prize:

Accessibility is not only a physical property – accessibility exists in more ways than just what we can touch directly. Entergate strives for fully accessible tools that make it possible for everyone to take part. Entergate works hard to meet WCAG 2.1 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
The WCAG guidelines are the generally accepted standard for web accessibility. Entergate applies an inclusive design strategy for accessibility by taking the needs of users with disabilities into account throughout the design process. They also collaborate with FUNKA, an independent accessibility specialist, to make sure every step of their accessibility work functions optimally. Combined with accessibility efforts across the organisation, their products and services add value for both customers and employees.
As a bonus, Entergate takes its social responsibility and is at the forefront by adapting and facilitating employment for groups with particular needs, a disability, or those who are new to Sweden.
