eConsent is a digital flow where the participant can take part in research information and give documented consent. EnterMedic can combine this with BankID for identity verification and electronic signature.
Is a BankID signature the same as informed consent?
No. BankID verifies identity and can be used for signature. Informed consent also requires understandable information, the opportunity to ask questions and a voluntary decision.
Can both legal guardians sign?
Yes, the solution can be configured for two separate legal-guardian steps when the study requires it – even from different places. The research principal decides which setup should be used.
Does Entergate send invitations and reminders?
No. The customer is responsible for participant lists, mailings, reminders and participant contact. We configure and give technical support for the functions that are included.
What happens if a participant does not have BankID?
The study needs to have a decided alternative if people without BankID are to be able to take part. Which alternative flows can be supported is confirmed in the technical requirements review.
Can eConsent be connected to eCRF or randomisation?
Yes. Consent status can be connected to the next step in EnterMedic, for example forms, eCRF or randomisation according to the customer's approved specification.
How long does it take to get started?
It depends on the amount of information, number of roles, legal-guardian flows, integration needs and how finished the source material is. After a technical review we can propose scope and plan.
